My name is Amy Stammen, and I am a 4th grade Reading/Language Arts teacher at Celina Elementary School. I am also in a cluster with Mrs. Bye. I received my Bachelors in Education from Marquette University and Masters in Education from Wright State University. Prior to moving back to Mercer County and becoming a teacher in Celina, I taught 5th grade in Chicago Public Schools. I became a teacher, because education is a job among few that can have such a positive impact on the lives of innocent children. I have 6 children, 1 granddaughter, and a Bernedoodle. I live in St. Henry and love the outdoors, staying active, eating anything, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
I send home a weekly newsletter and have Class DOJO set up to correspond with parents/guardians. You can also email me anytime at [email protected].
